Mr. Md. Monirul Haque

Mr. Md. Monirul Haque is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Rupali Investment Limited, a subsidiary of the state-owned Rupali Bank PLC and a leading merchant bank. Earlier this year, he was promoted to the position of General Manager through a notification issued by the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Haque began his professional career in 1998 as an officer at Rupali Bank, having been recruited through the Bankers Recruitment Committee (BRC) of Bangladesh Bank. Since 1999, he has played a key role in the implementation of various ICT-related projects at the bank. Throughout his career, he served with integrity and efficiency in different capacities across the Computer Division, Management Information System (MIS) Division, ICT Systems Division, and Mobile Banking Division.
During his long professional journey, Mr. Haque participated in numerous training programs at home and abroad. He also served as a resource person and speaker in several training courses and workshops, particularly on Computerization, CIB Online Project Implementation, and Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Implementation within the bank.
Academically, Md. Monirul Haque completed his Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Notre Dame College. He earned both his Bachelor’s (Honours) and Master’s degrees in Mathematics from the University of Dhaka, and later obtained an MBA from Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology. Mr. Haque hails from Raipura Upazila of Narsingdi District, Bangladesh.
