Md Mominul Haque, CFA is a seasoned finance professional with over fourteen years of experience in investment banking, commercial banking, and strategic management. Mr. Haque is well convergent with the financial ecosystem of Bangladesh and proven skills in business development, and structuring.
He started his career at BRAC EPL Investments Limited and worked in Impact Investments Departments. Later, he joined Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB) as Management Trainee Officer (MTO). After successful completion of the Trainee period, he got the opportunity to work in the Credit Department and managed a commendable portfolio consisting of reputable corporate houses. He got a good exposure to different industries, and various business segments.
To pursue his passion in investment Banking, Mr. Haque joined the Investment Banking team of LankaBangla Investment PLC (LBIPLC) in 2019. He played an instrumental role in arrangement business and arranged funds for leading corporate houses using different alternative financial instruments. He also remained engaged in different advisory businesses and started to lead the team from 2021. During this time, he contributed to different M & A deals and arrangement business of LBIL. Being a part of Management Committee and Investment Committee, Mr. Haque contributed to the business progression of LBIPLC.
Mr. Haque assumed the role of Managing Director of Southeast Bank Capital Services Limited (SEBCSL) on February 10, 2026. He is now actively working on the business strategy of SEBCSL so that it can contribute to the greater goal of Southeast Bank PLC.
Mr. Haque is an Ex- Cadet and completed his secondary level education at Rajshahi Cadet College. He passed Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) from University of Dhaka. He completed his MBA from prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka major in Finance.
Mr. Haque is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and frequently participates in different capital market-related knowledge sharing sessions, seminars, and workshops. He also takes classes at different universities on capital market related topics as guest faculty.
He is also involved in different social welfare and an active member of Cadet College Club Limited (CCCL) and ORCA (Old Rajshahi Cadets Association). He is enthusiastic about traveling and sports.
