Mr. Syed Rashed Hussain is an Investment Banking professional with cross-functional and cross-departmental expertise in Issue Management, Structured Finance, Debt, Quasi-Debt & Equity Financing, Corporate Advisory, Fund Management, Wealth Management, Merchant Banking Operations, Research Analysis, Administration, Marketing, Sustainability and Corporate Communications.

Mr. Rashed joined BRAC EPL Investments Limited in 2011 as an Executive in the Marketing Department and over the last 14 years has shifted across multiple departments gaining on the ground experience across all the business units and support functions of the Company. He has been serving in his current role as the Chief Executive Officer of the company since January1, 2021.He possesses an exceptional ability to learn and adapt to changes and to undertake new roles, challenges and responsibilities with a track record of taking initiative, personal responsibility, ownership of work and building a reputation for removing obstacles and making things happen.

Mr. Rashed completed his Baccalaureate from Monash University (Australia) and he has done a course on Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge. He completed his O and A'Levels from Mastermind School. He is a keen football enthusiast and an avid fan of AS Roma.
